Sai Irene Sánchez Correa holds a Doctoral Degree in Journalism from the Complutense University of Madrid. Currently she is an influencer marketing and digital crisis management consultant. She is also lecturer for Universidad Anáhuac México Norte. She has also worked as Public Relations, Communications and Social Media Manager for Yanbal México and Grupo Posadas who is the leading hotel operator in Mexico, with more than 60 destinations across Mexico. She also served as the PR Manager for Mexico's National Council of Tourism Businesses and participated as the Vice-President of Communication for the Mexico Chapter of the International Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association HSMAI. Previously, she led the PR and social media efforts for Volaris Airlines for more than six years, organically growned the company's online audience in Facebook and Twitter to more than 1 million fans/ followers each. She also worked in media relations and publicity for Mercedes-Benz Mexico, where she published Mercedes Magazine and directed the brand's presence at MB Fashion Week Mexico. Sanchez is certified as English/Spanish bilingual and was recognized the "Hero of the Month" by SimpliFlying Magazine and was named a "Leader of the Future" by Líderes Mexicanos Magazine. She is a member of the Association of Public Relations Professionals of Mexico PRORP, the Mexican Association of Female Executives AMME, and the Mexican Association of Communicators AMCO.
